Looking out across the water
The sun rises with golden hue
The sky turns from the darkness
to shine a majestic blue
Sitting along the waters edge
the peaceful sounds of soft waves
rolling onto the shore
create a soft mist for a moment of haze
Across the shore a gentle breeze
your senses fill with the ocean scent
your soul melts into the moment
you become one where life begins
'Tis at this time you realize
how precious all life is
for what we have or have not
