Lonely Prayer

When God was listening one night
He heard the faint prayers of mine,
He heard how I longed for happiness,
He heard my heart cryin'

He looked down upon the earth
for someone to be there for me
He saw this wonderful man
it was you that He said it to be

He brought us together in an unusual way
seems funny now that we look back
That you and I would now be

Our bond is full of love and respect
