Lynn
I don’t remember much about that night
We were suddenly whisked away
They said that something’s wrong
an accident they say
I don’t remember when
They told me that she died
I do remember this
It was the first I saw my dad cry
I barely remember my mom
She was crying, her heart broken
Everyone gathering around
Hardly a word spoken
My sister was so beautiful
Her hair dark brown, her eyes blue
She had this twinkle in her eyes
You knew her smile was true
She had this wonderful gift
Of making everyone smile
Good hearted in everyway
Not one bit of her would guile
She had a beautiful angelic face
And loved so very much
Even though she is gone from us
At times you can feel her touch
In the air or a lone bird song
You feel her presence still
Because she had touched so many
Her love our heart she fills
From the beginning of her life
Until its sudden end
Even now in her resting place
She is our loving Lynn
